The Rogers Family… <3.

“If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded.” – Maya Angelou
This quote completely sums up what this family has done for me, and I’ve only met them once, and I’m sure for so many other people.  Let me just say this entire family radiates happiness and kindness from them, the moment you meet them.  When I walked in the door Gregory, the baby, greeted me with an enormous smile… Nicole, Mom, also was joyful and so sweet, as was Brian, Dad.  This session was very relaxed and so much fun… Little Gregory just loves to smile, so couldn’t of been anything but fun right?!  I need to say too, the past week or so I had been swamped with medical appointments for my son and prepping for his upcoming surgery, and I had written a blog post, further down, about him and the surgery.  Nicole had read it… And I am so so glad she did and so glad that she mentioned she had read it.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t believe in coincidences.  I truly believe everything happens for a reason, whether I  know what that reason is in that moment or never at all.  Anyways, towards the end of our session, Nicole mentioned to me that she had read my post and that she had someone very close to her go through a very similar surgery and shared some of that experience with me.  And the surgery my son is having is not the everyday thing… I can’t tell you how much it meant to hear someone say that and to talk to me about it openly and honest.  Not only that, but this family truly radiated happiness.  I am so grateful to have met them all and I just know that I will see more of them!  Thank you for being a bright spot in a scary time.  I am forever grateful!
{P.s.- The bassinet you see him in his is great, great grandma’s!}
